Mountains inspired by Southeast Alaska around the outer edge with a band of red iron oxide representing the deep waters surrounding them. As the celadon green glaze pulls on the red iron oxide the image of seaweed swaying in the currents is evoked.

Stoneware, fired to cone 10.
Food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe*, oven safe if put in before preheating.
*Do not microwave gold luster
Sanded to 1500 grit for a smooth bottom.
